This weekend was the reception for the contributors to the Henderson Libraries' anthology, Impressions: Freedom. My son and I drove all the way across town so that he could see his mom called up in front of everyone, honored to have been chosen as an author and artist in the collaboration.
But we got there late! When we arrived, all the names had been called and people had moved on to mingling. I picked up my copy of the book...it was so fun to see my work in there!
And my son did get two free cookies out of it. So he was happy, too.
